Dr. Ashley Moorman was awarded the Valdosta - Lowndes School District Dental Association (FCA) Distinguished Service Award 2016 for her efforts in organizing dentistry. She is a member of Valwood High School D Dentists Association and has served on local F CA school groups, including Valwood High School, where she serves on the board of the Valwood Valiant Club, and as a board member and president of her school's chapter in the Georgia Association of Dentists.
She has served on numerous committees and working groups of the GDA and headed the Advisory Board for the Dental Assistant Programme. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Valdosta-Lowndes School District and is a board member and vice president of Valwood High School D and chair of the Board of Directors.
She has studied at numerous dental training institutions, including the University of Georgia, Georgia State University and the Georgia Institute of Technology. She attended the American Academy of Dental Medicine in Atlanta, the Atlanta College of Dentistry and studied at numerous advanced dental training institutions, including Georgia Southern University, the National Institute for Advanced Medical Studies and Georgia Tech. Woodward also studied at the US Department of Health and Human Services and at numerous other universities in the United States and abroad, as well as in Europe and Asia.
She graduated in 1980 as a valedictorian and then attended the Medical College of Georgia for her doctorate in dentistry in 2016. Dr. Wilson attended Georgia State University, Georgia Southern University and the Georgia Institute of Technology. During her medical studies she had the opportunity to return to Georgia and spend three years at Rome Georgia Floyd Medical Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and Master of Dentistry from Georgia Tech and graduated from Georgia Medical College in 2016 with a PhD in dentistry.
After graduating, she moved back to Valdosta, where she began her studies at the Valdoa State College and graduated in 1993 from the University of Georgia with a degree in biology. After graduating, she went to Georgia State University, Georgia Southern University and the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry in 1992. In 2000, she took on a partner, Dr. Barclay Woodward, and the two practices became two. Advanced Dental Care was born and she practiced under the guidance of her mentor, from whom she had learned and with whom she grew up.
Dr. Woodward is currently a member of the Valdosta Dental Society, the Georgia Association of Dentists, and a board member of the American Academy of Dentists of Georgia and the National Alliance for Children's Health. In honor of Children's Dental Health Month, she participates in the annual Valdoa Dementia Awareness Week, a celebration of children's health, education and health care.
Her interests outside medicine include herbal nutrition, mental health and emotional well-being, and active membership in the Valdoa Dental Society and the Georgia Association of Dentists. She is a graduate of the Valdosta State University Medical College and an associate professor of dentistry at the University of Georgia School of Medicine.
Dr. Woodward has exceeded all training requirements set forth by the Georgia Board of Dentistry. Dr. Gray has attended numerous advanced training courses to earn her Master's degree in dentistry from the University of Georgia School of Medicine and her Ph.D. from Valdosta State University Medical College. In addition to her bachelor's degree, she has also exceeded the minimum level of training for dentists in Georgia by both the Valdoa Dental Society and the Georgia Association of Dentists. As an associate professor of dentistry at the university, Dr. Ashley Moorman also exceeds the highest and minimum level of training required for dental education by the Georgia Board of Dentology.
During her studies at VSU, she attended the University of Louisville, where she graduated with distinction and earned her PhD. Dr. Le graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with a bachelor's degree in optical engineering and a master's degree in optometry from Georgia State University. She completed internships in Daytona Beach and Kansas City and earned her PhD in Optometry from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Athens, Georgia, after completing her Master of Science in Optometry and Optopharmacology and her Bachelor of Arts in Optical Engineering. After graduating from UGA with a bachelor's degree and master's degree in health sciences and sciences, he completed an internship at Daytona Beach, Kansas City, and then earned a PhD in optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
During his time there, he was fortunate enough to play football for the Eagles from 2000 to 2004 and win the national championship in 2000. He graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2005 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Georgia in 2006.
