Well I recently made the move to Valdosta... Wooo the big city... I originally moved here so I could be closer to my B/F at the time... Don't wanna talk much about that... Just know I'm now single... Not looking but open to relationships... I'm typically a mellow sort of person but I am easily excitable... It takes very little to make me happy... I can never turn down a friend in need... Also I can be considered amusing... according to my roomies... I'm generally a jolly kind of guy who loves small groups and avoids "mobs" of people...

Well not really much to say here. I am a very relaxed individual. If you can manage to piss me off you have accomplished something. Though I do become annoyed easily by idiots. Flat out and simple if you cant count without using your fingers just shut up. Other then then I enjoy relaxing on an average night. There is nothing wron with sitting around with a movie , or some small planned activity with a drink. About myself though. There isnt much. Im a tall fellow, not really buff but slim. So Im not out there benching weights its not my style sorry. Eating well and keeping in shape is a plus though. Guilty to admit id rather an orbital then actually running. I hate running. Anyhow. I have really thick black hair natural tan. My buddies often tell me though I have a natural cynical look. Dont take offence please, I know im not the most attractive. Hahaha. I work, a lot, too much it seems. I work in sales for a major home improvement retailer, I'm good at dealing with people, patience is definitely a virtue. Oh, what to tell you about me? I love chocolate, I love comic books, and I dislike pina coladas, but love getting caught in the rain. I worship music, and can't help but dance to it, even if I look like a dork.

I read constantly, maybe, four hours a day (barring unavoidable distractions). I read more on the weekends, but really it just depends on how busy I am. I am now a sixth year senior in University; sad, I know, but my school, change-my-major-nine-hundred-and-fifty-four-times crisis came a little later than I had anticipated. My greatest academic interests are Law, Criminology, Psychology, and I am fascinated by upper-level theoretical Physics (but I don't know very much, mostly I like listening to other people talk about it), but I'm an English major. I know it doesn't make much sense, but neither do I!

I'm pretty strange and when I get nervous, I say random, impersonal reflections of a given situation or try to hide behind some unfortunate soul's louder personality. Though, mostly I just ramble... kind of like I'm doing now. Back to the point:

I don't really drink, not because I think it's wrong, but I apparently have mutinous taste buds which seem to think that most alcohol is not for me. Generally, I only drink things I can 'shoot' or that have so little alcohol I wouldn't get tipsy after a game of Ring of Fire. I don't smoke, once again: bad taste.

Really, my biggest vice is being introduced to something interesting. One of my friends mentioned a comic book character? I bury myself to my hips in Cable & Deadpool (I'm a total Deapool fan-girl), Avengers, etc. My newest comic obsession is The Authority (poor Kev: what's the wonderful thing about tiggers everyone?). I saw the new Star Trek movie? I set aside my reading time to watch the Original Series, and am turning into a Trekkie. Seriously. I thought about going to one of the conventions! -_-'

I take Zodiacs kind of seriously, maybe more than most people. I have found them to be alarmingly accurate, so long as you disregard online/newspaper horoscopes, etc. and actually look to the literature. I'm a Libra, so I'm prone to indecision, which usually manifests because I need for everything to balance, to be fair or just.

I don't exercise as much as I could or probably should, but I am not one to complain about being 'fat' or 'pudgy' or anything: I know what I am and how I look and that is enough for me. One of my friends likes to say that I have a Botticelli-an figure and since he painted the Birth of Venus, I'm taking it as a compliment. ^_^ I'm not as confident in myself as I want to be, but I'm getting there.

I love dancing and often prefer it to walking. I want to take formal lessons some day in the near future, but I may have to put that on the back burner. I'll probably have a lot of trouble with finding a good partner, because I am apparently very resistant to being lead around the floor. I need someone with a stronger personality than mine so that they can make me go where I need to. *shrugs* I guess that is something I need to work on. ^_^

I know this thing is getting offensively long now, so I guess I'm going to wrap up with: I am the accumulation of experiences that have made me strong, a survivor, if you will. I have a good heart, and though I can be exceedingly dorky and awkward, I know I'm worth getting to know. Besides, these essays aren't even a third of the person I am.

I head down south, to Jacksonville a bit every month. If I don't get out of Valdosta every now and then I go nuts as is.

Hi. I work in words and love music (local original when possible), musing, moving, playing, reading, silliness, poetry readings. Irony and satire, serious reflection, less serious distraction, the swamp, wandering aimlessly, daydreaming, road trips. Good poetry. Great wine and beer (but sometimes a PBR in a dive bar/pool hall/bowling alley is perfection). Night (cf. astronomy and insomnia). Cooking, tasting, quiet, listening. Science fascinates me poetically, but poetry doesn't fascinate me scientifically. Travel. Patience (quick to kindness and slow to anger). Beauty. Art. Wilderness. Big cities. Exploring. Politics mostly makes me sad, but I pay attention. I'm the quiet type, generally, but not overly reticent.

Uh...let's see. I'm ok to be around I guess. I'm always a nice person, if their nice, that is (works both ways, if ya give it, prepare to receive it). I don't go out much, I live in a dead man's town and there's nothing here, never has been, never will be. Soon as I have the means, I'm gone. I like historical towns (Savannah, Charleston, St. Augustine, etc.) so somewhere like that is more than likely where I'll end up one of these days. I'm shy, a homebody (blame the town for that one, hehe), it's not that bad though cause I'm not a people person anyway. Modern times is terrible and I can't stand it, give me a time machine and I'm back in the 30's, 40's , maybe even the 50's, those are the times that appeal to me.

Well, I think that's about it for now, I'll ad some more stuff later.

I smoke too much, I drink to excess, I have vague moral standards... I'm everything you could ever want in a lover. I'm left-handed, sassy and you'll soon adore me for it; vehemently vexing with a dash of Irish and crazy. A devotee of deviant diction, votary of volatile verbiage, and all around silly-nilly, I view my world through the hazy lenses of realism soaked glasses which keeps me from being absolutely p-paralyzed with happiness. My greatest hope is to get tangled with love in the moonlight to welcome the anarchy of a lover.

I'm a happy heathen (agnostic); it works quite well for me. A bit scattered in a neatly packaged, fleshy container. I can't cook; I read more than most; I say "fuck" frequently; I can never find my keys (those last two might be related); and I don't like asparagus (asparagi?).

I like flippant language and odd diction makes me smile. I would happily live the life of a beach bum if it offered an appropriate retirement plan (pension, 401K, Roth account... whatever. I'm not picky.) I even love the way sand clumps on ocean-licked feet. I'm definitely a jeans, t-shirt and flip flops kinda girl, although I have a strange fascination with polka dots and sun dresses. I'm always cold, unless it's 100 degrees outside and then I'm perfect. I'm neither an early-bird nor a night-owl... more like an afternoon-reptile. I have an irrational hatred for all things coffee (This is good news, dear coffee loving reader. Your coffee stash is safe with me.).

So, what am I looking for?

Thanks for asking. I'm looking for someone who can keep up with me in a good jog but doesn't actually want to jog with me unless it's a race. I'm odd that way. I prefer a liberal, but hell, I live so far south I know my options are limited. Ironically I'm attracted to the clean-cut and neat, stereotypical, conservative look. So I guess what I'm really looking for is someone who'd be perfectly happy star-gazing, eating s'mores and talking about life and whatnot--even on a Friday night.

I don't respond to winks; you have to use your words; as I hope you can tell, I kinda have a thing for them.

And if you recognized my four literary allusions, I think I could love you forever.

I am just a life loving guy. I am very laid-back, go with the flow type. I can be serious but only if i have to be. I enjoy working out, outdoor activities, reading, road trips, and sleeping. I also enjoy learning about other cultures and look forward to the opportunity of getting to do more international traveling in the hopefully near future.

I am into comic books and video games, but they aren't an obsession to me like it is for some. So what, I'm a little nerdy? I am also one of the coolest people you will meet! I like dancing,singing, and inventing. I really like what's going on with Heroes now. I can't wait for Kingdom Hearts 3 and Birth by Sleep to come out. I'm very much into Blackest Night from DC. I really want to see the Avatar movie (both types). I lived in Japan for a few years, was born in England. My father and mother were both in the Air Force so I moved around a lot. I have a little brother (16) and an older half-sister (29). I have been living in Valdosta for 8 years now, and I am ready to leave lol. Nice city, but not for me. I think that everything happens for a reason even if we don't always see that reason because you never really know how many lives could be affected by one choice. I am a bit of a gaymer/nerd. I am also really loving and caring. My friends say I give the best hugs and that I'm so comfortable like I just fit with everyone lol
